Description
Under the palace of Eger is a great wine complex. It was built in the Turkish period. Approximately 10% of the wine grown between Gyöngyös and Moekatsjeve (Ukraine) was saved. That was more than 10 million liters per year. The cellars are about 3 km long, the tour shows 700 meters. It is always 12 degrees, so for a visit warm clothes are recommended. The tour tells the history of the city and the focus is also on craftsmenship.Location
