Watertower (Siófok)

Description

The water tower was built in 1912. It is 45 meters high, the water basin inside is 5 meters high and can carry 250m3 water. From 1973 the tower is no longer in function. In the 80's a tourist function given to the tower, but it did not work. Tourinform has their home in the tower from that moment. In 2012 the tower was renewed for the 100th anniversary and is modernized with lifts. At the top is a Samsung adventure world and restaurant set. From the tower there is a view of Siofok and the environment. When weather is nice you can see the Badacsony hill, which lies 60 km further.
