On the western edge of the municipality, set in beautiful natural surroundings, lies the municipality’s smaller beach, Gyenesi Lidó Beach, which is particularly popular with families with young children. The beach has been awarded the highest 5-star Blue Flag rating. The charm of this beach, which is very popular with families with young children, lies in its tranquillity and beautiful natural surroundings. Whilst your child plays in the shaded sandpit and in the shallow water along the shore, you can relax and enjoy your days off. Older children can have a game on the sand football pitch or the recently built beach volleyball court, but there is also a pedal boat hire service for beach visitors. A large sandpit, a playground and games such as Memory and Torpedo attract the playful little ones. Beach wheelchairs are available for people with reduced mobility. If you get hungry, you can choose from a wide range of options at the beach kiosks.
