Boldogkő Castle

The original castle from the 13 century (so-called a mud citadel) became further developed between 15th and the 17th century. In the 19th century romantic priorities have been indicated. Recent restorations have repaired the splendor just a little more. On top the view is splendid, for example looking at the Zemplén mountains. In the citadel not everything is repaired, but nevertheless different aspects can be distinguished such as the dungeon and the cover. From the cellars a passage leads to the wine cellars.
